First, a little bit about ordering from BBT
Better by Thursday is a small, slow-fashion label and everything we offer here is made-to-order.
Every BBT garment is hand-made with care by either Kat herself or another freelance sewist she works with.
Once we receive your order, Kat will select the pattern according to your size requirements, cut your material and prepare all the trimmings. Then either Kat or another sewist will sew and finish your garment. We will then do a final inspection of the garment before it is shipped.
This is not fast fashion.

Shipping
How long will it take to complete my order?
We ask that you allow up to 3 weeks for us to complete your order.
This timeframe may be shorter or longer depending on how many orders we receive at any given time.
If your order is going to take longer than 3 weeks to complete we will email you and let you know.
How long will shipping take?
Once your order has been posted you will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email from us with tracking details.
Exact delivery timeframes will depend on your location and delivery preferences eg. Standard or Express Post.

Please note, these timeframes are ESTIMATES ONLY. We cannot guarantee exact delivery timeframes or dates.
For orders shipped within Australia:
Standard shipping:
3-5 business days within Metro Australian Areas
6-10 business days within Rural Australian areas.
Express Post: 2-3 Business Days
For orders being shipped internationally:
Standard International (Australia Post) : 12-28 business days
(We do not offer an Express option for international post)
How can I track my order?
You can track your order using the tracking information provided in our Shipping Confirmation Email. If you do not receive your tracking details, please contact us directly at info@betterbythursday.com.au.
Please note that once an order is in transit to you and a tracking number has been provided we are unable to accept responsibility for any missing, stolen or delayed parcels.
Shipping labels are created based on the information you provide at the checkout, so please ensure that the address provided is accurate.
We do not offer refunds or replacements for items damaged, lost or stolen during transit.
How much does shipping cost?
See below for postage charges by location and delivery preference.
These charges will be calculated at the checkout once your address and postage preferences are entered.
Shipping within Australia:
Standard: $9AUD
Express Post: $20AUD
International Shipping:
New Zealand (Standard Post): $20AUD
All other International (Standard Post): $40AUD
Do I need to pay any taxes or duties on international orders?
Yes, possibly. International orders may incur customs duties and/or other taxes in the country in which you live. We advise contacting your local customs office to find out if/and how much these charges may be.
Any charges of this type are the responsibility of the recipient.
Please understand that this is not within our control and we cannot pay these charges for you. If you choose not to pay these charges and the item is returned to us as a result, you will not be refunded.
Returns
Our Returns Policy
Because all of our items are made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect choice. This includes incorrect sizing choice.
We have made every effort to provide accurate and detailed sizing information, size charts, measuring guides and item descriptions for each garment.
Please ensure that you read our Sizing Guide, and the Size Chart and Measuring Guide for your chosen garment before selecting your size.

Refunds & Exchanges for Faulty Items
In the rare instance that a garment you receive has a fault in it's manufacturing or fabrication please advise us within 14 days of receiving the garment by emailing us at info@betterbythursday.com and providing us with photos and a description of the fault.
We will then contact you via email to arrange either a refund, repair or replacement of the item depending on the circumstances and your preferences.
